Graydar showed off his talents earlier this spring when he dominated the GI Donn Handicap field by leading every step of the way and drawing away from his opponents by a commanding 3 lengths! He followed that impressive performance with a commanding victory in the GII New Orleans Handicap a month later.
He had ankle surgery to remove a chip which was found after the NO Handicap and has been rehabilitating at the WinStar Training Facility. He has been an outstanding patient and seems to be recovering very well. All reports are good and he is well on his way to a fall campaign. The ultimate goal is to have one or two prep races under his belt before the GI Breeders Cup Classic on November 2nd .
