Abraham draws the outside post for Saturday’s G2 Dwyer Stakes at Belmont. The race is for 3-year-olds going one mile. He will break from post 6 with Junior Alvarado aboard. The purse is $200,000 and the estimated post time is 5:17PM.
Earlier this year, Abraham dazzled the crowd at Gulfstream breaking his maiden in wire to wire fashion easily under John Velasquez. He followed that performance with a 3rd in the G3 Sunland Derby behind Govern Charlie. His last race was the G2 Peter Pan S. at Belmont on a very muddy track, where he finished a disappointing 4th to Freedom Child, unable to overcome the sloppy conditions.
He has been training very well over the Belmont surface this summer and looks to regain his form on Saturday.
