This year we built a new state of the art swimming pool unlike any pool in Kentucky! It is over 105 feet long and 11 feet deep. It is both heated and cooled to just the right temperature so our horses are always comfortable. We also use salt water, which is much gentler on the horses’ coat, instead of the normal chlorine found in most pools.
On July 5th, we swam horses for the first time in the new pool! We have seen the benefits of swimming horses in the past and we are very excited to use this new tool to help strengthen and develop our yearlings for the upcoming sales as well as give a leg up to older horses getting ready to go to the track.
Twin Creeks Farm has a total of 11 yearlings nominated to the summer sales as well as Twin Creeks Racing Stables’ stakes winning mare FUNNY FEELING, who will be offered in the Fasig-Tipton November Sale. We invite you to view all our sales nominated horses on the “Sales” page.
