When asked how they came up with the name for the horse, Gullatt explained that the mother of the horse is “Dream of Summer.” “And Destin is a great place to dream of summer,” Gullatt said, noting he has visited the white sandy beaches of the Emerald Coast. Plus they liked the meaning of “Destin” — fate or destiny.
