Mission Impazible had the first call of the race as they broke away from the gates in the 2012 GI Donn Handicap.
He settled behind Shackelford and Trickmiester down the back side waiting to unleash his talent. Turning for home he burst through an opening at the head of the stretch and battled Hymn Book to the wire who came running on the outside. At one point Hymn Book passed him but Mission Impazible came back and they exchanged head bobs to the wire. Unfortunately Mission did not get the bob on this one.
Next stop will be the New Orleans Handicap for Mission Impazible on April 1st at Fairgrounds in New Orleans. He will try to defend his title as New Orelans Handicap Champion. He has won the last two years on that surface. Once as a 3yr old in the Louisiana Derby and as a 4yr old last year in the New Orleans Handicap.
